Delhi and Punjab on high alert before Independence Day, two suspects came out from Jammu; explosives also with them!

High alert has been issued in Delhi on the occasion of Independence Day. According to reports, intelligence agencies have received inputs that terrorists active in Jammu are planning to carry out suicide attacks in Delhi or its surrounding areas. Apart from Delhi, security forces have also been put on alert in Punjab. Intelligence agencies have given inputs based on the conversation between the militants. Agencies say that it is not necessary that this attack will happen on the occasion of Independence Day. This is because on that day heavy security forces are deployed everywhere, but terrorists can act after a day or two.

According to the Times of India report, sources say that two suspects seen in Kathua in Jammu and Kashmir are suspected to be moving towards Delhi. These people also have weapons. It is suspected that these people have gone towards Pathankot and can also move towards Delhi from there. Not only this, security forces and agencies fear that these terrorists can also target the Amarnath Yatra. Apart from this, important prestigious institutions in Delhi can also be targeted. For the past several years, security forces and agencies have been successful in controlling the terrorists.

The alert states that terrorists can target heavily crowded areas. Actually, this alert has been issued at a time when the activities of terrorists have increased in Jammu division, which is considered peaceful in comparison to Kashmir. Terrorist attacks have increased in districts like Kathua, Doda, Udhampur and Rajouri. Now there is also a fear that these terrorists can move towards Punjab and Delhi.

By attacking Delhi, the terrorists would like to send a message that the capital is still not out of their reach. Inputs have come several times before that organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed are planning to attack Delhi. Apart from Delhi and Punjab, security forces are also on high alert in Jammu and Kashmir. Security forces are on alert in areas like Lal Chowk.
