The sun is shining brightly during the day due to which people are troubled by heat and humidity. The sky will remain clear till October 5. In such a situation, it is believed that monsoon may bid farewell to Delhi soon. The minimum temperature in Delhi on Sunday was two degrees above normal. There has been no good rain in Delhi for the last three-four days. Due to this, an increase in the maximum temperature has been observed.

The maximum temperature recorded at Delhi’s Standard Observatory Safdarjung on Sunday was 34.7 degrees Celsius, which is the normal temperature for this time. Whereas, the minimum temperature was 25.2 degrees Celsius, which is two degrees more than normal. Due to strong sunlight in the capital, the temperature is expected to rise by two degrees in two days. The Meteorological Department has predicted partly cloudy sky and no rain on Monday. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, Delhi’s air quality index (AQI) was recorded at 78 at 10 pm, which falls in the satisfactory category.
