The state president also met Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. This was a courtesy meeting between the two. It is worth noting that the state BJP president went to Delhi on Friday. During his three-day stay, he met many party leaders including Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai, former state president Dr Sanjay Jaiswal and sought their guidance.

Earlier on Saturday, in a conversation with ‘Hindustan’, Dr. Jaiswal shared his priorities and work plans as president. He said that from August 3, he will start touring the districts. He will communicate with the workers in view of the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025. To ensure a bigger victory for the NDA in the state than in 2010, he will take feedback from them and prepare a strategy for election management. The party organization needs to be sharpened up to the booth level for the 2025 elections. As the new president, we will work on this.

Dilip Jaiswal said that as the state BJP president, it will be his priority to establish better communication with the parties involved in the NDA alliance in Bihar. If necessary, we will also develop a mechanism for this. He said that people should also realize that the ministers from BJP quota are serving the public through the schemes of their departments. Its review is also necessary. Ministers will have to improve the ‘delivery of services’. As the president, this will be included in his priorities and he will work together with the ministers on this.
