Hundreds of members of the Iran-backed Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah were injured on Tuesday when their own pagers exploded. More than 1000 people, including the Iranian ambassador, have been injured in this accident. These pagers were used by Hezbollah fighters for mutual communication but they exploded. According to Iran’s Mehr news agency, Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Mojtaba Amani is also among the injured.

Hezbollah has blamed Israel for the attack and claimed that all the pagers exploded at almost the same time. Hezbollah said it was the biggest security breach it had faced. According to Reuters, a Hezbollah official said the pager explosion was the “biggest security breach” the group has faced in its nearly year-long war with Israel.
