Fear of conspiracy in chip items! Government alert from China after Israel’s pager blast

Israel had killed terrorists of the militant organization Hezbollah operating in Lebanon by detonating pagers and walkie-talkies. More than 50 people were killed in both these attacks, while around 3000 were injured. This attack was such that there were simultaneous blasts on pagers and then walkie-talkies all over Lebanon. This new war strategy of Israel has surprised the whole world. Not only this, the fear of cyber and electronic warfare is also increasing. While Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi himself called it a master stroke by Israel, he also expressed the need for caution with such warfare.

The Indian government is also alert regarding this. Government sources say that with the ban on purchase of CCTV cameras from China, now the purchase of smart meters, parking sensors, drone parts as well as laptops and computers can be controlled. It can be taken from other trusted partner countries instead of China. Apart from this, there will be emphasis on their manufacturing in India itself. The import of these devices from China is very high. In such a situation, the government is worried that China can take advantage of this dependence at any time. Especially the government wants to control the import of such devices in which chips are used.

Israel had planted explosives in Hezbollah’s pager at the same place where the chip is inserted. Thus, there is concern around the world about ensuring that the supply chain remains reliable. Already the Commerce Ministry had ordered monitoring till December. Now some more orders may also come to keep an eye on imports from China. Sources say that the government is going to bring such a system by which all electronic items including CCTV cameras are certified before their use in India. Only once approved should they be given for general sale.

PM Modi has also expressed concern over hybrid warfare

In fact, the Indian Army has already been warning about this. Even PM Narendra Modi has been warning about the danger of hybrid warfare. In such a situation, the government does not want to take any risk in the era of new types of wars. Let us tell you that Chinese companies are also at the top in selling smartphones in India.
