From Faridabad to Hisar, BJP is tense due to rebels, on which seats will it compete with its own people

Thursday was the last day of nomination for Haryana assembly elections. On the last day, BJP convinced Ram Bilas Sharma to withdraw his nomination from Mahendragarh assembly seat. Ram Bilas Sharma announced withdrawal of nomination in a very emotional atmosphere and said that only 10 or 15 years of my life are left. Now I want to die wrapped in the party’s flag. I do not want to separate from the party. But apart from Ram Bilas Sharma, BJP could not convince any other leader. BJP is facing rebellion from Sonipat, Panipat to Hisar and Faridabad.

Rebels are determined to remain in the contest on all these seats. These leaders also include the country’s richest woman Savitri Jindal. She has entered the fray from Hisar seat and is increasing the tension of BJP’s Kamal Gupta. Apart from this, former minister Kavita Jain has entered the election in Sonipat. BJP is also facing a challenge on Ateli assembly seat, where Santosh Yadav has rebelled. He is also the vice-president of the state BJP. Apart from them, leaders like Himanshu Sharma from Panipat and Shamsher Kharkhara from Meham seat are also creating problems for the BJP.

Deepak Dar is also not ready to back down from Prithla seat, while Kehar Singh Rawat from Hathin is adamant on continuing the contest. Nagendra Bhadana will remain in the fray from Faridabad assembly seat. All these leaders had claimed ticket from BJP, but when they did not get the opportunity, they rebelled. Voting is to be held in Haryana on October 5. In this way, only 21 days are left for the election and apart from competing with Congress, BJP will also have to deal with its rebels. At present, BJP sources say that September 16 is the last day for withdrawal of nomination and BJP is trying to convince some more rebels like Rambilas Sharma.

BJP may also face difficulty in Sirsa. Here BJP did not take Gopal Kanda’s Haryana Lokhit Party along and now he has joined hands with Indian National Lok Dal. BJP has contested this election alone and could not form an alliance with anyone. Jannayak Janta Party which was in government for nearly 4 and a half years is now separate. In this way, BJP is alone in the election and rebels are also busy creating a lot of tension for it.
