IMD Rain Alert, UP Rain: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has once again issued a warning of heavy rains in many states. The Meteorological Department has said that the low pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal has now turned into a depression, due to which many states including Odisha are likely to receive very heavy rains in the coming days. According to the Meteorological Department, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Odisha may receive very heavy rains on 8 and 9 September. On the other hand, if we talk about North India, there is a possibility of heavy rain in UP for three days i.e. 10-12 September.
Talking about North West India, there will be very heavy rains in East Rajasthan on 12 and 13 September, while there is a heavy rain alert in Uttar Pradesh on 10-12. Out of this, there is a possibility of heavy rains in East UP on 10 and 11 September. Heavy rains will continue in East Rajasthan on 8-9 and 13 September. There is an alert of heavy rains in Uttarakhand between 9-14 September.
Talking about the states of South India, rain will continue till this week in coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe, Lakshadweep, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Telangana, Tamil Nadu. Out of this, very heavy rains may occur in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam on 8th and 9th September, while heavy rains will occur in coastal Karnataka on 8th September, in Telangana on 8th and 9th September. At the same time, there is an alert of heavy rains in Telangana, South Interior Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe on 8-10 September, in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam on 8-12 September, in coastal Karnataka on 8-11 September.
Talking about the states of eastern and northeastern India, rain will continue for a week in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, West Bengal, Sikkim. In this, very heavy rains may occur in Jharkhand on 10 and 11 September, Gangetic West Bengal on 9 September, Assam, Meghalaya on 11 and 12 September, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura on 10-12 September. Talking about other states, heavy rains are expected in Assam, Meghalaya on 9-13 September, Odisha on 8-10 September, Arunachal Pradesh on 10-12 September, Gangetic West Bengal on 9 and 10 September, Sub Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on 9, 11 and 12 September, Bihar on 12-14 September, Jharkhand on 9-12 September.
Talking about the states of western and central India, there may be very heavy rains in western Madhya Pradesh on 11 and 12 September, eastern Madhya Pradesh on 9 and 10 September, Chhattisgarh on 8-10 September, Vidarbha on 9 September. Not only this, there is an alert of heavy rains in western Madhya Pradesh on 8-12 September and 14 September, eastern Madhya Pradesh on 8-10 September, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Chhattisgarh between 8-11 September.
