HMD Crest Series to Launch in India on July 25 Amazon Landing Page Confirmed

HMD is going to launch the HMD Crest series in the Indian market soon. This is going to be HMD’s first smartphone to come in India without Nokia branding. The company on Tuesday confirmed the launch date of the new smartphone through a teaser on X. The teaser does not reveal much about the smartphone, but it confirms a rear panel that is made of glass. The HMD Crest series will be sold in the country through Amazon. These smartphones are said to be made in India. Like the recent HMD smartphones, the upcoming series is also designed around the self-repairability concept.

When will the HMD Crest series be launched in India

The official HMD India account (@HMDdevicesIN) has teased the upcoming launch of the HMD Crest series. Post which is going to happen on July 25. The photo shared by the brand shows the rear panel of the smartphone. Apart from this, e-commerce site Amazon has created a landing page on its website to give information about the launch of the new smartphone.

Amazon Listings has revealed that the rear panel of the HMD Crest series will have a glossy finish and will be made of glass. The listing highlights the portrait imaging capabilities of the upcoming smartphone. Apart from this, the smartphone will come with easy self-repair features. It has been confirmed to be India-ready and HMD has announced that Bollywood actress Sanya Malhotra will be the brand ambassador of the upcoming lineup. While the brand has just revealed the HMD Crest series, it can be expected to include the Crest and Crest Max 5G models.

HMD Pulse Specifications

HMD Crest is likely to be launched as a rebrand of HMD Pulse. HMD Pulse was launched in Europe in April this year with a price of EUR 140 (about Rs 12,460). HMD Pulse has a 6.65-inch HD + LCD display with 90Hz refresh rate, which has a resolution of 720×1,612 pixels. HMD Pulse works on Android 14. HMD Pulse has a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support. It has an octa-core 12nm Unisoc T606 chipset. Talking about the camera setup, it has a 13-megapixel primary camera at the rear and an 8-megapixel selfie camera at the front.
