Huawei to Launch new MatePad tablets on August 6

Huawei has announced that it will launch two new tablets Huawei MatePad Pro and Huawei MatePad Air in China on August 6. However, not much is known yet. The company has revealed their design on Chinese microblogging site Weibo. Here we tell you in detail about Huawei’s upcoming tablets.

Huawei’s Weibo Post includes a photo of the MatePad Pro that shows a sleek tablet with an improved display and minimal bezels. The tablet will come with a stylus and keyboard, both of which are expected to use NearLink technology for better wireless connectivity. According to Huawei Central AccordingHuawei MatePad Pro can have a 12.2-inch double layer OLED display. It can come in 3 colors such as Inkstone Black, Xuan White and Gold. Huawei has teased that the MatePad Air will come in four colors White, Green, Sakura Pink and Rose Gold. Its design looks quite different from the previous generation, with a horizontal lens setup at the back similar to the Nova 12 Ultra.

Huawei MatePad Air may feature an 11.95-inch display. It is rumored to get 66W fast charging support. However, other specifications have not been revealed yet. Along with the tablet, Huawei has announced a stable release of the GoPaint app, which is currently in beta testing on select Huawei tablets. Huawei will launch its budget Nova Flip smartphone in China on August 5, just a day before the tablet.

Huawei Nova Flip has a 6.94-inch LTPO OLED primary display with a 120Hz high refresh rate, making it the largest foldable display on a flip-style smartphone. A 2.14-inch outer OLED display is available for quick access to notifications and other tasks. The device will be based on the Kirin 9-series G-Free chipset, with multiple RAM and storage options. Talking about the camera setup, it will have a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera at the rear. At the same time, the front will include a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Apart from this, Nova Flip will come with a 4400mAh battery which will support 66W fast charging.
