India Mobile Congress 2024 Akash Ambani Said Indian data should remain in Indian data centers

India Mobile Congress 2024: Today India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2024 has started, where Reliance Jio Chairman Akash Ambani said that India’s data should be kept in Indian data centers only. The scale and speed of data generation in India is continuously increasing, and it will get a further boost with AI. In such a situation, there is a need to start AI and machine learning data centers in India. Indian companies should be encouraged for this by the Government of India. Apart from this, he requested the government to update the draft of Data Center Policy 2020 soon.

Praising PM Modi’s visionary leadership, Akash Ambani said, “Today, due to Indian mobile companies and growing start-up ecosystem, India can provide AI solutions to the world including developed countries. A big digital revolution has started in India due to the promotion of industry and innovation by the government. Business has now completely changed in this new India. “Government and industry are working in synergy to meet the needs and expectations of 145 crore Indians.”

Akash said that “AI is very important to fulfill the dream of developed India. In India, Jio has started taking the benefits of AI to every citizen. Just like we did with mobile broadband. We are working to provide powerful AI models and services at affordable prices. For this, we are preparing the base of a national AI infrastructure.”

At the ongoing India Mobile Congress event at Pragati Maidan in Delhi, Aakash promised that India will be at the forefront of mobile innovation as we embrace the potential of AI for a connected, intelligent future. This will also increase employment as it happened during the adoption of computers and internet.
