Former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia strongly attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Assembly on Friday. While giving a speech in the Assembly for the first time after his arrest in the alleged liquor scam, Sisodia said that there is rule of law in the country, hence he is sitting in the House again. Taking the name of Vijendra Gupta, he said that if his father had ruled, he would have languished in jail for the rest of his life. Sisodia said, ‘There is rule of law in the country, that is why we are sitting here, and looking into your eyes, we are saying that we will not spare you.’

Sisodia said that there is rule of law in the country, hence BJP is facing abuses from the courts due to illegal activities being done against opposition leaders from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. Referring to many Aam Aadmi Party MLAs, Sisodia said that false cases were imposed against them and most of them were acquitted in the cases. Sisodia said that the law which is for terrorists was imposed on them.
