Is the rapist of the trainee lady doctor a psycho? A team arrived from Delhi for investigation; patients are suffering due to the strike

The CBI will conduct a psycho-analysis test of Sanjay Roy, accused in the rape and murder case of a woman doctor in Kolkata. Officials gave this information on Saturday. They said that a team of psychologists and behavior analysts from the Delhi-based Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) has reached Kolkata to conduct the necessary tests. It is known that the Central Bureau of Investigation has already taken Roy into custody. There is a suspicion that some other people may also be involved in this case, investigation is also being done on this.

Sources said the CBI has intensified the investigation into the case. In this connection, former hospital director Sandip Ghosh was summoned for the second day. A CBI team was questioning Ghosh since 10 am today. Another team along with forensic experts reached the hospital with a CD scanner, where the crime was committed. Another team went to the Bidhannagar police barracks of the 4th battalion, where the arrested suspect Sanjay Roy allegedly came out of the barracks at night. Sources said the CBI questioned Ghosh for more than 10 hours on Friday and let him go at midnight.

Investigation is also going on into the vandalism case in the hospital

Kolkata Police has summoned 7 SFI and DYFI activists to appear today or tomorrow in the hospital vandalism case. The summons also include DYFI chief Meenakshi Mukherjee, who was sitting on a dharna in front of the RG Kar Hospital pavement. Meanwhile, hundreds of Congress workers took out a march from NRS Hospital to Calcutta Medical Hospital. They demanded justice and the immediate resignation of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. BJP state president Sukanta Majumdar said that he has full faith that the court and the CBI will bring out the truth. Also, the conspirators will be arrested during the investigation.

In Rajasthan, proper arrangements have been ensured by the Medical and Health Department to keep health services smooth regarding the nationwide strike of doctors. Government medical college doctors and students protested in Srinagar, the capital of Jammu and Kashmir. Doctors and health workers expressed great anger in the Kumaon division of Uttarakhand. Medical services remained stalled throughout the day. Along with this, justice was demanded by holding processions and protests.
