The fight between Bollywood actress and Lok Sabha MP Kangana Ranaut and lyricist Javed Akhtar has now reached the special court. Javed Akhtar had filed a defamation case against Kangana Ranaut. After this, Kangana also filed a complaint against him. Now this case will be heard in Bandra Special Court. Mumbai’s Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court has ordered to transfer all the cases of the BJP MP from Andheri Court to Special Magistrate Court.
In the order given on August 21, it is said that this case is being transferred after Kangana Ranaut was elected MP. Now it will be heard by the Special Magistrate Court hearing cases related to MPs and MLAs. Let us tell you that in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Kangana Ranaut has been elected MP from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh.
Now the lawyers of both the parties will have to go to Bandra Court. Soon the documents related to these cases will also be sent to the special court. Let us tell you that Kangana Ranaut has already tried to get this case transferred to some other court. However, the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate and Dindoshi Session Court did not accept her application.
Kangana Ranaut has complained against Javed Akhtar that she was insulted at his residence in March 2016. She says that Javed Akhtar himself intervened in the dispute between Kangana and Hrithik Roshan and pressured Ranaut to apologize. Kangana Ranaut mentioned this meeting in an interview given in 2021. After this, Javed Akhtar filed a defamation case against her. After this, Kangana Ranaut also made a counter complaint and said that he had forcibly pressured her to apologize. However, the Sessions Court had stayed the proceedings on Ranaut’s complaint.
