Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani was again admitted to Apollo Hospital here on Tuesday. However, his condition remains stable. Advani has been admitted to the hospital due to old age related ailments. A source said, “LK Advani’s condition is stable. Various specialists including urology, cardiology and geriatric medicine are examining him.”
Earlier, he was admitted to the hospital last month. After a few days of treatment, he was discharged. 96-year-old Advani was earlier also admitted to Apollo Hospital. A few days before that, he was taken to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). He was discharged after being kept in AIIMS for one night.
LK Advani is one of the prominent figures of Indian politics and has been one of the founding members of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). LK Advani is known as a firm and capable leader who has held many important responsibilities in his long political career. This year, the BJP government at the Center has honored him with the country’s highest honor, Bharat Ratna.
