The XUV400 EL gets a 39.4 kWh lithium-ion battery, which can give a range of about 456 kilometers on a single charge. It has a maximum power of 150 PS and peak torque of 310 Nm. It comes with a 7.2 kW charger.
The company has planned to expand its EV business. For this, Mahindra will invest about Rs 120 billion in its EV unit.
