Paris Olympics 2024 Day 8 India LIVE- The eighth day of the Paris Olympics started with disappointment for India. Manu Bhaker finished fourth with 28 shots in the women’s 25m pistol event. Manu managed to hit 5 out of 5 shots only once in the 8 series. She hit 28 shots out of 40 in total. With this, her dream of a hat-trick of medals at the Paris Olympics remained unfulfilled. Manu had earlier won bronze medals in individual 10m air pistol and in mixed event with Sarabjot Singh. She is the first Indian to win two medals in the same Olympics.
Apart from shooting, Dipika Kumari and Bhajan Kaur will also be in action in archery. India will also have a chance to win a medal in archery. Nishant Dev will play the quarter-finals in men’s welterweight in boxing. India has won three medals (bronze) till the seventh day.
