Amidst the heated exchange between BJP and Trinamool Congress on the Kolkata doctor rape-murder case, TMC spokesperson Kunal Ghosh responded in a humorous manner. In fact, a leader from the BJP had given a statement saying that his hair should be pulled. Responding to this reaction, Kunal Ghosh said that his hair has already fallen and it is not right to cast an evil eye on whatever is left. Ghosh posted on the social media platform X and said that a BJP leader has threatened to slap me in public and pull my hair. My hair has fallen anyway, so it is not right to cast an evil eye on them. Instead, it would have been better if he knew some medicine that can bring back the hair, then he would have told me, it would have benefited me too.
BJP is constantly attacking Mamata government over Kolkata doctor rape-murder case. Kunal Ghosh is the one responding to all this from TMC’s side, so he remains the target of all the leaders. Apart from Kolkata rape case, people also react to his name cropping up in Saradha scam by attacking him personally. Responding to trolling in Saradha scam case, Ghosh said that he did go to jail but he is not guilty. At present, he is fighting a legal battle. I cannot say much about this until a decision comes on this.
Mamata government’s troubles are increasing continuously in Kolkata rape case. Recently, the resignation of party MP and the allegations of not looking into the case properly in an open letter gave the opposition parties another opportunity to attack. Mamata Banerjee, one of the most vocal voices of the opposition at the center, is constantly on the backfoot regarding this case. She was criticized all over the country due to her statement of Bengal burning and BJP questioned her patriotism over this and said whether Mamata wants to burn the whole country.
