‘Naidu is a habitual liar, plays with faith to shine his politics’, Jagan’s letter to PM Modi on the Laddu controversy

Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the Tirupati Laddu controversy. In this, he has accused the current CM Chandrababu Naidu of tarnishing the sanctity, integrity and prestige of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam. In the letter, Jagan wrote, ‘Chandrababu Naidu is a habitual liar. Now he has stooped so low that he has seriously hurt the faith of crores of people for political purposes. Naidu should be reprimanded severely for his shameless act of spreading lies. Also, it is necessary to bring out the truth.’

Jagan Mohan Reddy said that the doubts that CM Naidu has created in the minds of crores of Hindu devotees will be dispelled by doing this. Also, people’s faith in the sanctity of TTD will be restored. Chandrababu Naidu had claimed that during the previous government in the state, animal fat was used in the laddus served as prasadam at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirupati. There has been a huge uproar over this. On Saturday, Naidu said that after allegations of adulteration of Tirupati laddus with animal fat, the government will consult saints, priests and other top experts of Hinduism about the future course of action. After this, the government will take its decision regarding TTD, which is the official custodian of the world famous Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirupati.

Complaint also filed against Jagan Mohan Reddy

According to the Chief Minister, soon after the formation of the new government, he directed the Executive Officer of TTD to completely sanctify Tirumala. He took several steps to improve the quality of laddus, including blacklisting some suppliers. Naidu said that for good laddus, we started buying ghee from Nandini again. It is known that after the allegations of adulteration, a complaint has been lodged against Jagan Mohan Reddy and others in Hyderabad, accusing them of malicious act of desecrating the temple and hurting Hindu religious sentiments.
