NEET UG supreme court hearing live: The Union Education Ministry had sought help from IIT Madras to analyze the data of NEET exam results. IIT Madras included the top 1.4 lakh rankers in the city-wise data of the year 2023 and 2024. The test was enough to tell whether the candidates of any city or examination center got the benefit of manipulation. However, the test proved that this did not happen. Children have not got exceptional marks on a large scale in a particular city or center. It did come to light that there has been a jump in the marks of the students. This range is between 550 to 720. But, this can be attributed to the reduction of syllabus by 25 percent. Also, the students scoring high marks are spread across different cities and centers. This clearly indicates that there has been no manipulation in getting high marks.
