Budget 2024 Live: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is going to present the budget of Modi 3.0 government during the monsoon session of Parliament on Tuesday. The special thing is that this will be the 7th budget presented by her. Earlier, due to being an election year, no special policy changes were seen in the interim budget presented on February 1. Also, special announcements for the middle class were not included in the government’s interim budget. However, now there are possibilities that in the full budget, the government can make big announcements for taxpayers and women.
The special thing is that apart from the last two governments, this time Janata Dal United and Telugu Desam Party are also a part of NDA i.e. National Democratic Alliance, because the Bharatiya Janata Party failed to get absolute majority in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections. In such a situation, it is being said that the Finance Minister will have to keep in mind the demands of both the big parties during the budget session.
However, experts believe that there is little chance of major changes in India’s economic policy in the budget to be presented on Tuesday.
