Nothing Phone 2a Plus Will Be Launched This Month, Listing on Certification Sites

Nothing, which started its business in the smartphone market a few years ago, has announced the Plus variant of this smartphone after launching the Phone 2a and a special edition model. However, the company has not given information about its specifications. This smartphone has been seen on some certification sites.

Nothing posted a photo on social media platform X Post has said that the Phone 2a Plus will be launched on July 31. Earlier this week, Nothing’s social media handles posted a picture of Pokémon Mega Aerodactyl. Earlier too, Nothing had posted such a picture before launching a new smartphone. After this post, another cryptic post had a plus (+) icon, which indicated that this is the Phone 2a Plus.

Tipster Mukul Sharma has also shared a post and told that Phone 2a Plus has been seen on the sites of Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and TDRA. The prices of 8 GB + 128 GB, 8 GB + 256 GB and 12 GB + 256 GB variants of Phone 2a are Rs 23,999, Rs 25,999 and Rs 27,999 respectively. It has MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro SoC 120 as processor. Its AMOLED display comes with an adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hz. The dual rear camera unit of this smartphone has 50 megapixel cameras.

This dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone runs on Nothing OS 2.5 based on Android 14. It will get three years of Android updates and four years of security patches. It has a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,412 pixels) AMOLED display with an adaptive refresh rate of 30 Hz to 120 Hz, pixel density of 394 ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. This smartphone has HDR10+ support, touch sampling rate of 240Hz, PWM frequency of 2160 Hz and peak brightness level of 1,300 nits. The 50-megapixel primary camera of Phone 2a supports f/1.88 aperture and optical image stabilization and electronic image stabilization. It is available in Black color in the international market and can be purchased in Blue color in the country.
