According to the information, ambassadors appointed on contract basis in America, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Germany, UAE and Maldives have been recalled.
Mohammad Imran was appointed in Washington, Kamrul Hasan in Moscow, Javed Patwari in Riyadh, Shahabuddin Ahmed in Tokyo, Musharraf Hussain Bhuiyan in Berlin, Abu Zafar in Abu Dhabi and Rear Admiral SM Abul Kalam Azad in Male. All of them have been ordered to return by the interim government. Ambassador Kamrul Ahsan was appointed in Moscow on 5 January 2020. Dr. Mohammad Javed Patwari was appointed in Saudi Arabia in August 2020.
Musharraf Hussain was appointed in Germany on 2 October 2020. He was also given additional charge of Czech Republic, Kosovo and International Tribunal for Law of the Sea.
