OnePlus Ace 5 Comes With Bigger Battery But Slimmer Body Than Ace 3 8mm Thickness Confirmed Specifications

OnePlus The Ace 5 series is set to launch soon in China with a vanilla and a Pro model. The vanilla model is to be launched in India as OnePlus 13R. Some specifications of both the smartphone models have been confirmed and other information has been revealed through recent leaks. However, now the company has made a new disclosure. Even though OnePlus Ace 5 is going to get a bigger battery pack than Ace 3, but according to OnePlus, its thickness will be less than the previous model.

A microblogging platform in China, Weibo Post OnePlus has once again teased the upcoming Ace 5. In the latest post, the company said that the upcoming model will be more powerful but thinner than its previous generation model. OnePlus Ace 5 has already been confirmed to have a 6400mAh battery, but now the company has said that the smartphone will be 0.8mm thinner than OnePlus Ace 3.

Let us tell you that the new smartphone has 900mAh more capacity than the Ace 3, but despite that the smartphone will be 8mm thin, which is 0.8mm less than the 8.8mm Ace 3. OnePlus has claimed that the 6,400mAh battery of the upcoming Ace 5 can provide 23 hours of video playback on a full charge, even after which there will be some charge left in the phone.

Earlier, OnePlus had also confirmed that the upcoming Ace 5 will have Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, while its Pro model will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Elite. However, the Pro model is expected to be exclusive to China only. The company had earlier said that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 present in the Ace 5 will be tuned, giving it “8 Gen 3.5-grade performance”.

The device is also confirmed to have a 1.5K resolution display panel and a Sony IMX906 main sensor in the rear camera module. Both the phones will have 5 RAM-storage configurations which will include 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB variants.

OnePlus Ace 5 series is to be launched in China on December 26. At the same time, in India and other global markets, Ace 5 aka OnePlus 13R will be launched along with OnePlus 13 on January 7 next year.
