A video related to Maharashtra MLA Sanjay Gaikwad is going viral, in which it is being claimed that a policeman is washing his car. Opposition leaders have shared the video and raised questions on Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s government. The special thing is that the incident has happened at a time when only a few months are left for the assembly elections in the state.
Former Congress MLA Harshvardhan Sapkal has also shared the video. He said that this is a perfect example of misuse of police personnel. He also termed it as extremely insulting. Earlier in February, Gaikwad had got into trouble by claiming to have hunted a tiger (in 1987). He also said that he was wearing its tooth around his neck.
Soon after this incident, the state forest department filed a case against them under the Wildlife Protection Act. Also, the alleged tooth of the tiger was sent for forensic examination.

Gaikwad has given clarification in the matter of making the policeman clean the car. According to Times of India, he has said that the policeman vomited in the car after having breakfast. He also told that the policeman himself offered to clean the car. According to the newspaper, Gaikwad said, ‘Nobody asked him to clean the car.’
