Prashant Kishor’s party name is Jan Suraj Party and election symbol is stick, pen, mic or something else?

The formation of the party of election strategist turned politician Prashant Kishor will be formally announced in Patna on Wednesday. Prashant Kishore, who has been marching in Bihar for two years under the Jan Suraj Abhiyan, had said that the party’s name, leader, leadership council and constitution will be announced on October 2, Gandhi Jayanti. There is news of people from all over the country and abroad arriving at the program organized at the Veterinary College grounds in Patna. Good arrangements have also been made for the people coming from every corner of Bihar. But everyone’s eyes are on what will be the name of Prashant Kishor’s party, who will be the leader, the post of leader will be president, general secretary or convenor, who will be in the leadership council and also what will be the election symbol of the party.

People who have been watching Prashant Kishor for a long time believe that since he has spent two years in establishing the Jan Suraj brand, now he will not keep any name of the party which will be able to establish itself in the hearts and minds of the people again. It took time. Many types of accounts are running on many digital platforms in the name of Jan Suraj. There are elections in Bihar after a year. In such a situation, there is a possibility that Prashant Kishore may keep the name of the party as Jan Suraj. Even if there is a change, the name Jan Suraj Party can be chosen by adding the word party in front of Jan Suraj.

So much secrecy is being maintained regarding the leader and the leadership council that no name is even being discussed. Sources say that Prashant Kishore has finalized all the names with the core team and has refused to talk to anyone about it. There is discussion that a Dalit can be made the leader of the party, while the leadership council can be formed keeping in mind the religious, caste and regional equation of Bihar.

There may be many revolutionary provisions in the party’s constitution, a glimpse of which was given by Prashant on Sunday by talking about inclusion of Right to Recall. Jan Suraj will give ticket in the assembly elections only to the candidate who makes a legal affidavit and agrees to the right to recall. Nothing is coming to light regarding the election symbol of the party. Unconfirmed sources say that the Commission has offered the apple symbol but Prashant Kishor does not want to take it.

There are currently 190 election symbols available on the Election Commission’s site that any party can ask for. Prashant Kishore, who has been carrying Mahatma Gandhi and his charkha on the banner of Jan Suraj since the beginning, wanted the charkha but it is not included in the available symbols of the Commission. The closest symbol that can be taken is the walking stick with the image of Mahatma Gandhi at number 180.

Apart from the stick, the Election Commission currently has seven ray pen nib, mike, letter box, laptop, gift pack, envelope, callbell, diamond, cot, computer, chess, man and boat with sails, blackboard, binoculars as free symbols. There are many symbols available like , bat. But going by the way Prashant Kishor plays with symbols, after the stick, mike, letter box, envelope, callbell, gift pack and blackboard can be his choice for election symbol.
