Redmi teased its upcoming smartphone model in India through a post on its social media handles. Here the name was kept behind the scenes, but an image was shared, which shows a large round camera module on the rear of the smartphone. It looks a lot like the Redmi 14C (4G) that was launched in the global market in September this year.
The word 2025G has been used in the post, which points towards 5G smartphones in 2025. From this it can be guessed that the upcoming phone will be equipped with 5G connectivity.
A tipster, Paras Gulani shared this teaser photo on gave a hint It could be Redmi 14C 5G. However, this should only be considered a speculation until there is an official confirmation from the company. If it happens to be Redmi 14C 5G, then the phone will be the successor to the existing Redmi 13C 5G and will be a 5G version of Redmi 14C with a changed chipset.
Recently the alleged Redmi 14C 5G was spotted on Geekbench with model number 2411DRN47I, where it scored 917 points in the single-core and 2182 points in the multi-core test. The phone was tested with Android 14 OS and 8GB RAM and the chipset specifications in the listing pointed towards it being a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen SoC.
