Snapdragon chipsets were used in the company’s previous series of foldable smartphones. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 was given as the processor in Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 introduced this year. However, Samsung’s Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ had Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Exynos 2400 chipsets, depending on the market.
The company’s Galaxy Z Flip FE can also be launched soon. To keep this foldable smartphone affordable, there may be some reduction in its features compared to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip series. However, it may have the same processor as the company’s Galaxy S24 series. Recently tipster Jukanlosreve had told that Exynos 2400 can be given as processor in Galaxy Z Flip FE. The same processor has been used in Samsung’s Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus in some markets including India.
Earlier, tipster @yeux1122 had said in a post on South Korea’s blogging platform Naver that preparations are being made to launch an affordable variant of the Galaxy Z Flip smartphone. This smartphone can be launched next year. It can be brought with Samsung’s upcoming foldable smartphones – Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. During the announcement of results in the third quarter of the current year, the company had said that it is working on ways to bring low-priced foldable products. Sales of foldable smartphones have increased rapidly in the last few years. Samsung has the highest share in the segment. Competition in the market of foldable smartphones has increased in the last few months.
