In fact, two video clips are being shared on the social media platform X. In one clip, he is shown saying, ‘Understand the meaning of Allah, the creator and nurturer of the world, the one who makes order in the world, he is called Allah… Allah has no image, he has no form.’ In the second clip, Swami Avimukteshwarananda says, ‘Allah has no relative. Neither is he his son, nor is he a friend, nor are he his parents and nor is he his partner. He is completely asang. Above the Kaaba… since Allah has created the seven heavens, he is seated above the Kaaba. On the basis of qualities, like his quality is that he is very merciful, so one of his names became merciful. Muslims start every work by saying that he is very merciful, very noble. In the name of the same God who is called Allah. They worship him and do not consider anyone else worthy of worship except him, this is the meaning of Allah.’
Condemnation being done by calling him an advocate of Islam
Sharing these two clips, many people are criticizing Shankaracharya Avimukteshwarananda. Many people wrote harsh things calling him an advocate of Islam. One user wrote, ‘Is he Shankaracharya or Maulana? The so-called Hindu Shankaracharya started teaching Islam to Hindus instead of teaching Hindu religious texts.’ Similarly, many users are making various comments.
What is the full truth of the video
When Live Hindustan investigated the viral video, the whole truth came out. It was found that Shankaracharya’s statement was being presented in a distorted manner. It also came to light that some parts of a two-year-old video were cut and made viral in a wrong manner.
Actually, under the Prashnaprabodh program, Avimukteshwarananda was asked the difference between Allah and Parabrahma. In the video uploaded on Jyotirmath’s YouTube channel 1000.Guru on July 18, 2022, Avimukteshwarananda says- Shashikant Patil ji has asked what is the meaning of Allah and Parabrahma and is there a difference between these two. In response to this question, he explained Allah and Parabrahma. During this, he also mentioned the beliefs of Muslims. Now some portions are being cut from the part and presented in a different way.
