what are the preparations for vande bharat sleeper
Vaishnav said on Sunday that after Vande Bharat, Vande Bharat Sleeper trains will be introduced on the Indian Railways map very soon and its maximum speed will be 160 kmph. Vaishnav said that like Vande Bharat trains, Vande Bharat Sleeper trains are also being manufactured using indigenous technology. In this train, the loco cab has been improved along with passenger safety and the facilities of the loco pilot and attendants have also been taken care of. Along with this, this train is equipped with anti-collision shield system.
What are the new features
Speed and number of passengers- The Railway Minister has said that the sleeper Vande Bharat trains have been designed for a speed of 160 km per hour. These will have 16 coaches, including 11 third AC, 4 second AC and 1 first AC. 823 passengers can travel in it at a time.
modern conveniences- The government has said that modern lights have been installed in the sleeper Vande Bharat. Along with this, USB charging and special dog box have also been included. Every driving trailer coach (DTC) in the train has been provided with a large space for keeping luggage.
Meal- The Railway Minister has said in the pictures shared on Twitter that fresh food will also be available in the train through large, medium and small pantries. Fixed and foldable snack tables have been installed for the convenience of the passengers.
Security- The sleeper Vande Bharat Express has been equipped with a strong aerodynamic cab. It is also fitted with crash-buffers and anti-climbers.
HVAC Systems- The Railway Minister has said that HVAC i.e. Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning system will make the journey of the passengers comfortable.
black box- The train will also feature a black box, which will collect real-time data and enhance security.
Facilities for pilots- The special thing is that the loco cab in Vande Bharat Sleeper will have AC. Also, a separate toilet has been arranged for the crew.
Ergonomic Toilet- The Railway Minister also said that the train will have 51 ergonomically designed toilets. There will be options of Euro, Oriental and combination styles. First class passengers will also get shower facilities.
Cleaning- There will be bio-digester tanks and each coach will have 30-litre garbage compactors to maintain cleanliness.
