India, which is constantly progressing in terms of technology, is likely to get many benefits from this US visit. In terms of new technology, mutual cooperation between India and America on semiconductors is continuing. At the same time, India is also now in a position to get its first security fab. Apart from this, defense partnerships like efforts to buy and jointly manufacture drones, efforts to create a separate energy chain outside China with the help of a separate agreement, and many other things are included.

It is being said that from America’s national security to the tech world, there are indications that India is a reliable partner. A glimpse of this was also seen in PM Modi’s meeting with the world’s big companies. During the meeting, regulatory and legal changes were suggested by the companies, but PM Modi’s personal contact was also appreciated.

On the very first day of his US visit, PM Modi attended the Quad summit hosted by President Joe Biden. It was attended by Japanese Prime Minister Fumiya Kishida and Australian PM Anthony Albanese. Apart from the summit, PM Modi also held bilateral meetings with his counterparts from Australia and Japan.
Key announcements from the summit include the ‘Quad Cancer Moonshot’, an unprecedented partnership to tackle the challenges posed by cancer, especially cervical cancer, in the Indo-Pacific region.
