A unique and emotional incident has come to light from Jaipur, Rajasthan. Here a child who was kidnapped 14 months ago became so attached to the kidnapper that when the police started taking him to meet his family, the child refused to leave the kidnapper. The child started crying while clinging to the kidnapper. Seeing the child crying so much, tears came to the eyes of the kidnapper too.
A video of this incident has also surfaced. In it, the police is trying to take the child away and the child is seen crying loudly while clinging to the kidnapper. After this, the accused also started crying. The police forcefully rescued the child from the accused and took him to his mother but the child kept crying. Even after going to his mother, he did not stop crying.
Took care of the child for 14 months
According to the information, the child was with the kidnapper for about 14 months. But instead of harming him, the kidnapper took good care of the child. He also brought him toys and clothes. Due to this, the child became so attached to the kidnapper that he was not ready to leave him. According to media reports, the accused has been identified as Tanuj Chahar and he is said to be a head constable of Uttar Pradesh. The police arrested him from Aligarh.
what is the whole matter
The accused had kidnapped an 11-month-old child on 14 June 2023. The child has been identified as Kuku alias Prithvi. Accused Tanuj, along with some of his accomplices, had kidnapped Prithvi. After this, the police tried hard to catch him. According to the report, the police also placed a reward on him but nothing was found. The child stayed with the kidnapper for 14 months. After this, the police got the input that the kidnapper had changed his appearance. He has grown his beard and hair and is living in a hut on the Parikrama Marg of Mathura-Vrindavan as a sadhu. The child was also with him, whom he used to take around as a sadhu.
How was the accused caught?
On receiving the information, the police also reached the accused’s hut in disguise. But he had already got the hint of the police’s arrival, due to which he took the child in his lap and ran away to the field. The police chased him and caught him with the child on August 27.
According to the information, the police brought the accused to Jaipur. When the child’s parents came to know about it, they also reached the police station. After this, when the police tried to hand over the child to his mother, the child was not ready to leave the kidnapper. He hugged him and started crying loudly.
