Apart from this, it has also said that pressure is formed in the west-central and adjoining northwest of the Bay of Bengal adjoining the coasts of North Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha and is likely to cross North Andhra Pradesh near Kalingapatnam around midnight today. Due to this, heavy to very heavy rains are expected in coastal Andhra Pradesh on the 31st. Apart from this, very heavy rains may also occur in Telangana on August 31 and September 1 and in Vidarbha on September 1.
Talking about the weather of the last 24 hours, very heavy rainfall occurred in Assam, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Kerala, Mahe, Telangana, while heavy rainfall was also recorded in East Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Himachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry.

Talking about western and central India, very heavy rains are expected in western Madhya Pradesh, Marathwada on September 1 and 2, Vidarbha from August 31 to September 2, Chhattisgarh on August 31, Gujarat from September 2 to 4. Apart from this, there is an alert of heavy rain in Madhya Pradesh from August 31 to September 4, Vidarbha, Marathwada from August 31 to September 3, Chhattisgarh from August 31, September 1 and September 4 to 6, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra from September 1 to 6, Gujarat from September 1 to 5.
For South India, the weather department forecast is that Rayalaseema, interior Karnataka will receive heavy to very heavy rains from August 31 to September 2, coastal Karnataka on August 31 and September 2. According to the Meteorological Department, the rain is going to continue in Jammu Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Eastern Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, Chandigarh, Western Rajasthan for the whole next week. Out of this, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh are going to receive heavy rains on September 2, Jammu Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Punjab on September 2 and 3, and Western Rajasthan on September 3 and 4.
