Talking about the states of South India, there is a possibility of rain for a week in Coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Mahe, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Telangana, Lakshadweep, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, North Interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema and Interior Karnataka. Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Telangana will receive very heavy rains on September 4 and 5. Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Telangana, Coastal Karnataka, North Interior Karnataka may receive heavy rains between September 4 to 8, South Interior Karnataka may receive heavy rains between September 4 to 7, Kerala, Mahe may receive heavy rains between September 8 to 10.

Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has forecast for eastern and northeastern India that Arunachal Pradesh may see very heavy rains on September 4. Apart from this, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura will receive heavy rains for the next seven days. Arunachal Pradesh may receive heavy rains from September 4 to 6, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim from September 4 and 5, Bihar from September 5, 6, Odisha from September 4-8.

Talking about the weather of North West India, the Meteorological Department has said that there will be very heavy rain in Rajasthan on September 4, while heavy rain is expected in Uttarakhand, Rajasthan from September 4 to 8, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana from September 4, Western Uttar Pradesh from September 4 and 5, Eastern Uttar Pradesh from September 4 to 6.
