Aam Aadmi Party councillor Ramchandra has claimed that four-five people came to his house and called him. After that they took him to the BJP office. After taking him there they said that if you do this then it will not be good. Do you know ED-CBI? They threatened me in this way. They said that it will not be good for you.
Ward number 28 councillor Ramchandra was one of the five members who joined the BJP last Sunday. However, he returned to the AAP a few days later. He claimed that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal came to him in his dream, after which he changed his mind. Later in a video message, he said that some people took him to the BJP headquarters.
Ramchandra said in the video message, “There they threatened me that I will be implicated by ED and CBI. My son Akash called the police helpline while our senior party leaders called the police commissioner. When they (BJP) came to know about this, they sent me back home.”
He said in a video shared by AAP, “I want to tell the BJP that I am not afraid of ED and CBI. I have not done anything wrong. I am a soldier of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.” Meanwhile, AAP Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh on Sunday shared a video of Ramchandra’s son Akash on Twitter, in which he has alleged that his father has been kidnapped.
In the video, Akash said that my father received a call from a former BJP councilor. It was said on the phone that we are standing outside your house to meet you. My father came down from his office. We have received information that four-five people threatened my father that ED-CBI will trap him and they took him away. We are looking for them. Reacting to Sanjay Singh’s post, senior party leader Manish Sisodia also reiterated the allegations made by Akash.
AAP MLA and Delhi Municipal Corporation in-charge Durgesh Pathak accused the BJP of making a mockery of law and order in Delhi. In a post on X, Pathak said, “Aam Aadmi Party councillor Ramchandra ji has been kidnapped by the BJP councillor … with his goons and no one knows where Ramchandra ji has been taken.” He said, “We warn the entire Bharatiya Janata Party that if Ramchandra is not sent to his home in the next one to one and a half hours, we will create such a ruckus that the entire BJP will be shaken.”
Countering this, BJP’s Delhi unit spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor accused Manish Sisodia and AAP’s MCD in-charge of lying and creating sensation. Kapoor said in a post on X, “It does not matter to us whether councillor Ramchandra is in your party or not. It is certain that he is sitting at his home while you are spreading rumours.”
