The Paris-based ad hoc division of the Court of Arbitration for Sports, while giving its verdict in Vinesh Phogat’s case, has said that the application given by Vinesh Phogat on 7 August 2024 is rejected. On this, the court had said that it is too late now. At the same time, the second demand of Vinesh Phogat was that if she has won the matches till the semi-finals, then she has the right to the silver medal. At least she should be jointly given the silver medal. This appeal has also been rejected by the court.
