Vivo X200 Series to Launch on October 14 with Mediatek Dimensity 9400

Vivo is going to launch Vivo X200 series in the Chinese market on October 14 at 7 pm. This new series will be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 9400 with a powerful upgrade. This is the first 3nm chip in the Android ecosystem, built on TSMC’s 3nm processor. MediaTek has also confirmed that it will announce its next generation chip in China on October 9. Vivo X200 Series Features

According to reports, the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 features the new Arm Cortex-X925 Prime CPU core, which offers a 36% improvement in performance and a 41% increase in AI capacity compared to its predecessor, the Cortex-X4. Apart from this, the chip includes Mali-G925-Immortalis MC12 GPU, which is considered to be Arm’s most powerful and efficient GPU till date. In testing, the GPU achieved 134fps in the GFXBench Aztec 1440P off-screen Vulcan scene, outperforming the A18 Pro by 86 percent and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 by 41 percent.

Vivo X200 Series Specifications

Vivo has confirmed that the Vivo X200 series will include three models Vivo X200, X200 Pro and X200 Pro Mini. This will be the first smartphone with Dimension 9400 processor. Talking about the performance of the chip, the X200 Pro Satellite Edition equipped with this chip has achieved an impressive AnTuTu score of over 3 million, which is the first Android flagship to do so.

According to reports, the X200 will come with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 primary camera and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 telephoto camera. All three phones are expected to have a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 lens for ultra-wide shots.
