We have solved 90% of the cases, now CBI should get the culprits hanged by 18th August; Mamata on Kolkata rape-murder

The uproar over the brutality against a female doctor at Kolkata’s government hospital RG Kar is not subsiding. The investigation of the case has been handed over from Kolkata Police to CBI. Now Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee says that CBI should speed up the process of getting justice because Kolkata Police has already solved 90 percent of the cases. CBI should hang the culprits by August 18.

Advocating death penalty for those who crossed the limits of cruelty against the female doctor, Mamata Banerjee announced protests on behalf of TMC. She said that these protests will be held from 17 to 19 August. Mamata said, “On August 17, a protest march will be taken out in all the blocks and the demand will be made to punish the culprit. On August 18, a protest will be held in all the blocks and on August 19, a program will be organized on the day of Rakshabandhan.”

It is worth noting that after this heinous incident on 9th August, anger is being expressed through protests across the country. Especially the demand for providing security to doctors and medical professionals has intensified. Let us tell you that last Friday, the female doctor was found dead in the seminar room of RG Kar Hospital. The female doctor was on night duty and her colleagues last saw her going to the seminar to rest. The female doctor was bleeding from her mouth, eyes and private parts. Many shocking things were also revealed in the post-mortem report. It is suspected that the victim was gang-raped.

Serious allegations against TMC by BJP

Meanwhile, the matter is also taking a political turn. Union Minister and West Bengal BJP President Sukanta Majumdar has alleged that TMC has adopted a very surprising attitude on such a serious issue. He said that not a single woman MP of TMC talked about the murder and rape of the doctor in Kolkata. He also suspected “something fishy” in the matter. He alleged that the name of the nephew of a TMC MP is repeatedly appearing in the chat of the WhatsApp group of doctors. The role of a TMC leader cannot be ruled out in this.
