Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky himself confirmed this on Thursday and said that Ukrainian troops have infiltrated Russian territory and taken full control of the city of Sudja in the Kursk region. This city is one of the largest cities captured by Ukraine so far, which had a population of about 5,000 before the war.
Zelensky said that the office of the Ukrainian military commander is being set up in Sudja. Earlier, Ukraine had targeted four Russian military airports in drone attacks late Wednesday night. Advanced robotic units are proving to be an important tool in Ukraine’s military strategy, which is presenting a new challenge to the Russian forces.

BAD.2 Robot Dogs are a type of compact ground drones specially designed for reconnaissance tasks. It is equipped with high-definition video cameras. These robot dogs can go to the battlefield and collect necessary information and monitor the battlefield without putting humans in any kind of danger. These robots are also capable of detecting landmines. It can walk on the ground at a speed of 15 km / hour. This dog-like robot can go to forests, mountains, trenches, buildings and other inaccessible areas and collect information and monitor them. It can also reach places where traditional unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) may have difficulty reaching.
Due to their ability to pass through dense bushes and inaccessible places, these robot dogs are proving to be a boon for the Ukrainian army. The report says that the Ukrainian army is currently using more than 30 robot dogs. The cost of each of these robots ranges from Rs 3.70 lakh to Rs 7.40 lakh and the structure of all of them is kept slightly different. These robot dogs have reduced the risks of Ukrainian soldiers. BAD.2 robot is an advanced version, while BAD.1 robot is its original version.

The report said that to avoid the Russian army, the Ukrainian army has equipped these robots with German-made anti-thermal imaging cover, which has further increased their ability to work secretly. The big thing is that this robot can silently carry out big missions without making any sound. However, this is not the first time Ukraine is using robotic dogs in military operations. In June 2022 itself, the US Army announced that it would supply two robotic dogs to Kiev. It is believed that Kiev has been using it since then, but now the increase in its number has increased the capability of Ukrainian soldiers.
