‘What should I do now’, former BJP MLA cries after not getting ticket in Haryana

There is resentment among the party leaders regarding the list of candidates released by the BJP for the Haryana Assembly elections 2024. A former BJP MLA started crying during an interview on Friday because he did not get a ticket this time. A video clip is going viral on social media in which he is seen crying bitterly. During the interview, Shashi Ranjan Parmar is asked why his name is not in the BJP candidate list for the upcoming Haryana assembly elections? To this, he says, ‘I thought my name would be in the list.’ As soon as he says this, his throat gets choked and he starts crying.

The journalist interviewing him tries to console Shashi Ranjan Parmar. He tells him that the party will look at his qualifications and his constituency will be considered. But the former MLA continues to cry. It is known that Parmar was staking his claim for BJP’s candidature from Bhiwani and Tosham in the state. Parmar said, ‘I had assured people that my name is being considered. Why would I do it now? I feel helpless.’ Hearing this, the interviewer says that Netaji, you keep your courage.

Parmar said- what is happening to me

Shashi Ranjan Parmar said in a choked voice, ‘What is happening to me. What kind of behaviour has happened to me? I am very sad about this. What kind of decisions are being taken?’ It is known that assembly elections are to be held in Haryana on October 5. The first list of 67 candidates has been released by the BJP. A day after this, on Thursday, the party had to face rebellion. Minister Ranjit Singh Chautala and MLA Laxman Das Napa left the party after not getting the ticket. Chautala, son of former Deputy Prime Minister Devi Lal, said that he took this decision after a meeting with his supporters. Now he will contest the elections as an independent candidate. Napa left the party after not getting the ticket. The crisis of rebellion for the BJP started shortly after the first list of candidates was released, as many people were angry with it.
