The Election Commission has taken cognizance of the viral video of the inflammatory statement given by Congress candidate Maman Khan from Firozpur Jhirka assembly constituency of Nuh district regarding the Nuh violence. Election Officer of Firozpur Jhirka Assembly Dr. Chinar Chahal has issued a notice to Maman Khan. In this, a reply was sought on the basis of the video and the news published in the media. The Election Officer has received a written reply from Maman Khan. It is being investigated. Further action will be taken after this. What reply has been given is not yet disclosed.

Statement given regarding Nuh violence went viral

These days a video of outgoing MLA Maman Khan, who is contesting the assembly elections on a Congress ticket from Ferozepur Jhirka, is going viral on social media. In which he is saying in a public meeting about the Nuh violence that he knows each of the people who had given the list of names. After the formation of the Congress government, he will deal with such people or else such people will have to leave Mewat.

During the violence, a case was registered against people who had gone to Saudi Arabia for Umrah. Innocent people were tortured. However, the video of this statement of the candidate is going viral on social media. The election officer of Ferozepur Jhirka assembly took cognizance. A case is registered against Maman Khan in the Nuh violence case and he is on bail. Maman Khan says that he has given a statement about such people who had submitted a wrong list of names of innocent people to the police.
