The Election Commission has taken cognizance of the viral video of the inflammatory statement given by Congress candidate Maman Khan from Firozpur Jhirka assembly constituency of Nuh district regarding the Nuh violence. Election Officer of Firozpur Jhirka Assembly Dr. Chinar Chahal has issued a notice to Maman Khan. In this, a reply was sought on the basis of the video and the news published in the media. The Election Officer has received a written reply from Maman Khan. It is being investigated. Further action will be taken after this. What reply has been given is not yet disclosed.

These days a video of outgoing MLA Maman Khan, who is contesting the assembly elections on a Congress ticket from Ferozepur Jhirka, is going viral on social media.
