Ather Energy OTA Update Release Notes Turned Software Bugs into a Laughing Matter New Features Coming Soon

Ather Energy has adopted a fun way of delivering the release notes of an OTA update to its users. Referring to “bugs” in the release notes of this update, there is an interesting comparison between the usefulness of bees and big-eyed bugs. Ather points out how important some bugs, like bees, are to our environment, while other bugs are just nuisances. In this update, Ather has promised to remove such “bad” bugs, so that the user experience can be even better.

A user (@saintist47) on X shared a screenshot of the release notes of the OTA update by Ather. Generally, most companies in their release notes mention only those changes or improvements that are included in that update. However, in the release notes shared by Ather, the bugs were explained in a very interesting manner. With this update, Ather has not only talked about technical improvements but also made a successful attempt to make the users laugh.

As can be seen in the screenshot, Ather did not make any major changes or improvements in this update, but this update was released as a preparation for features to be unlocked or added through OTA updates in the future. . “This version also includes a few lines of code that will make it easier for us to enable some important features over the next few weeks. So update now to enjoy new features later,” Ather wrote in the notes.

However, the fun and attention-grabbing part is not this, but Ather’s way of explaining the usefulness of bugs. In its notes the company wrote, “Some insects are actually useful – like the bee that pollinates 80% of the world’s flowers. Or the big-eyed bug, which keeps soybean, cotton and corn fields safe from pests. [हालांकि] Some other bugs are not very useful. In fact, they are troublesome. So we’ve got rid of them for you in this latest version of the Ather app.”

This is a good way to connect with the new generation, which perhaps all companies should adopt. Certainly, Ather’s playful approach reflects technological change.
