Apple also recently offered discounts on iPhones to increase sales in China. The company had given a discount of CNY 500 or about $69 on iPhones. The economic growth in China is slow and inflation is increasing. For this reason, Chinese consumers are spending cautiously. Huawei has reduced the prices of premium devices including smartphones. Due to this, Huawei’s sales have increased rapidly in the last few quarters. Apple has also planned to reduce its manufacturing in China.

The company plans to launch a new affordable smartphone soon. Information about this has been received from some leaks. However, there is speculation that the company will change the model of this smartphone. It can be brought as iPhone 16E instead of iPhone SE 4. Recently, tipster Majin Bu had said in a post on social media platform X that Apple’s upcoming affordable smartphone could be called iPhone 16E. Aluminum frame can be given in this smartphone. In September last year, the company launched the iPhone 16 series. Apple’s A18 chipset can be used in the new smartphone. It may have options of 6 GB and 8 GB LPDDR5 RAM. The company also plans to provide Apple Intelligence features in it. This smartphone may have a 6.1 inch OLED display.
