Congress and National Conference will contest elections together in Jammu and Kashmir. Former CM Farooq Abdullah announced this on Thursday after a long meeting with Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge. Abdullah said that soon we will announce the seat sharing and the manifesto will also be released. Not only this, he showed a positive attitude on the question of bringing PDP along with him from the media. Abdullah said that our doors are not closed for any party with similar ideology and anything can be considered in the future. At the same time, he laughed off the question of becoming the CM in case of victory.
Farooq Abdullah said, ‘Our people are together. The people here have struggled for 10 years. Now we hope for them that the state status will be restored. Farooq Abdullah said that talks are going on about our alliance. Soon some decision will be taken on this. Abdullah said that we have only one resolution that divisive forces will be removed together. He said that we will fight the elections together. The announcement on seats will be made soon.’ He said that we hope that soon we will be able to get all the rights for Jammu and Kashmir.
