Google Pixel 9a and Pixel 10a tipped to have an early launch timeline including Android 16

The company surprised the smartphone market by launching the Google Pixel 9 series ahead of time. Google can now launch its affordable version Pixel 9a, and the subsequent series Pixel 10a ahead of time. These will be budget friendly phones about which the latest leak tells a lot. The phones could launch just two months ahead of their expected launch timeline, which could be as early as the first quarter of 2025. Not only this, their sale will also start with the launch. Apart from this, the company is also working on Android 16 and the next Android version can be seen only in the early months of 2025.

The launch timeline of Google Pixel 9a has been leaked. The affordable version of Pixel 9 series can be launched in March instead of May next year. Android Headlines It has been claimed that the company will launch Pixel 9a in March 2025, and Pixel 10a in March 2026. The sale of Pixel 9a will start by the end of March. Whereas pre-orders would have started in mid-March itself. That means the phone can be introduced two months ahead of time. Four color variants can be seen in Pixel 9a which will include Porcelain, Obsidian, Peony, and Iris shades.

Google is reportedly now accelerating the launch of its products. It is being said that the next version of the mobile operating system Android 16 will be launched by the end of the first half of next year. That means its launch can be seen around June. But it remains to be seen whether the company is going to change the launch timeline only for the upcoming series or is the company accelerating things in view of the increasing competition in the market.

If seen, this time Google introduced its Pixel 9 series before Apple’s iPhone 16 series. On the same lines, the company can introduce its affordable phone Pixel 9a even before Apple’s next launch i.e. iPhone SE 4. iPhone SE 4 may be launched in May next year. This shows that Google is probably trying to establish its presence in the market with more strength.
