HMD Arrow renamed
HMD through the X handle exposure It has been revealed that it has chosen the name “Arrow” for its upcoming smartphone, but due to legal reasons the brand is prevented from using this name. It is now known that the final name of the smartphone will be known in a few days. HMD chose the name Arrow for the upcoming phone based on a user contest on X. The brand clarified that entries for the contest are still open and the winners will receive the prize soon.
The launch date of the HMD phone has not been revealed. A report by 91Mobiles Report has revealed that the company is planning to hold an event in India on July 25 to launch its first smartphone. The alleged smartphone may support 5G connectivity. HMD’s upcoming smartphone may be a rebrand of HMD Pulse. HMD Pulse was launched in Europe in April this year.

HMD Pulse has a 6.65-inch HD + LCD display, which has a resolution of 720×1,612 pixels, 600 nits peak brightness and 90Hz refresh rate. It works on octa-core 12nm Unisoc T606 chip. Talking about the camera setup, this smartphone has a 13-megapixel primary camera at the rear. At the same time, there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. This smartphone has a 5,000mAh battery which supports 10W charging. This smartphone has up to 128GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB. Pulse works on Android 14 operating system. The price of HMD Pulse is EUR 140 (about Rs 12,460). This smartphone is available in Atmos Blue, Dreamy Pink and Meteor Black color options.
