Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei addressed the people while leading Friday prayers. He was addressing the public for the first time in five years by offering Friday prayers. During this, he attacked Israel and said that Arab Muslim countries should support Iran and Muslim countries have only one enemy and it has to be defeated together. Khamenei also reacted to the missiles fired by Iran on Israel after the death of Hezbollah chief Nasrallah. He described the attack as legal and legitimate. “The operation of our armed forces a few nights ago was completely legal and lawful,” he said.
In his address, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said that we will neither delay nor haste in responding to Israel. When Khamenei was addressing the people of Iran, he was also carrying a rifle. His sermon came a few days after Iran’s missile attacks on Israel. On October 7 last year, Hamas carried out a terrorist attack on Israel, after which tension increased in the Middle East. Israel launched a powerful counterattack on Hamas in the Gaza Strip and then targeted Hezbollah in Lebanon as well. Meanwhile, Hezbollah Chief Nasrallah was also killed, after which the tension between Iran and Israel reached its peak.
‘Israel will never win against Hezbollah and Hamas’
Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei told the fighters of Lebanon and Palestine that your strength should not be diminished by bloodshed. Israel will never be able to conquer Hezbollah and Hamas. Israel’s recent behavior is increasing anger and strengthening the desire for resistance. Israel is pretending to win through assassinations and civilian killings. Khamenei also took aim at the US, saying the US’s focus on maintaining Israel’s security is meant to hide its policy of seizing the region’s resources.
Israel attacks again in Beirut, nine killed
Meanwhile, Israel’s attack in Lebanon continues. An air strike targeted a building in central Beirut late on Wednesday, killing nine people. These people have been described as members of Hezbollah. Israel has been bombing areas of Lebanon where the militant group Hezbollah has a strong presence since late September, but has rarely targeted the central area of the capital Beirut. There was no warning before the attack late Wednesday, which targeted a building in central Beirut. This building is not far from the United Nations Headquarters, the Prime Minister’s Office and the Parliament. Meanwhile, Hezbollah’s civil defense unit said that seven of its members had been killed. The attack comes after at least eight Israeli soldiers were killed in clashes with Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.
