Vande Bharat Express: Jharkhand including Tatanagar will get the gift of three Vande Bharat trains. Out of these, two Vande Bharat trains will start from Tatanagar for Patna and Berhampur, while one Vande Bharat train will start from Deoghar for Varanasi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi can inaugurate all three trains on 15 September. However, there is no official information about the arrival of the PM. On Wednesday, South East Zone Railway GM Anil Kumar Mishra gave this information at Tatanagar station. He said that preparations have been made for the operation of Vande Bharat trains at Tatanagar station.
Traveling to and fro 3 states will be easy
According to the information, one Vande Bharat train will run from Tatanagar to Patna in Bihar, another from Tatanagar to Berhampur in Odisha and the third from Deoghar to Banaras in Uttar Pradesh. In this way, it will be easy for the passengers to travel between these three states.
As per the possible program of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Railway GM inspected Burmamines Gate, Overbridge, Station Main Road, Washing Line, Makdampur, Valve Line, all five platforms of the station, Foot Overbridge to the yard and surrounding areas. Along with this, the security arrangements of the station were checked through the footage prepared by drone, so that security cordon could be prepared on both ends from the station to the yard.
Trains will depart from platform 1 and 3
Railway GM AK Mishra also discussed with Jamshedpur MP Vidyutvaran Mahto about the Prime Minister’s program at the station and the inauguration time and platforms of Vande Bharat trains. According to the information, there is a plan to flag off both the Vande Bharat trains from platform number one and three at the station. First, Barhampur Vande Bharat will open, after which the Patna train will get the signal.
Three new platforms will be built at Tatanagar station
Railway GM said that the work of Tatanagar station redevelopment will start soon. There is a plan to increase three platforms from Burmamines Gate. Currently, Tatanagar has five platforms, which will increase to eight in the station redevelopment. For this, three lines of the yard will be surrendered. The increase in platforms will facilitate the movement of passenger trains.
Apart from Chakradharpur DRM AJ Rathore and RPF Senior Commandant PS Kutti, officials from other departments were also present during the inspection. Along with checking the passenger facilities, the Railway GM inquired about the Adityapur station work and the third line work. SSP Kishore Kaushal and Dhalbhum Sub-Divisional Magistrate Parul Singh also inspected the station in connection with the Prime Minister’s program.
