The Spanish government is calling smartphone addiction a “public health epidemic” and has proposed that all phones sold in the country be required to carry health warnings similar to those on cigarette packs. The move aims to raise awareness about the risks of excessive screen time. According to the proposal, these warnings will be similar to those given on cigarette packets, although they will not be as serious.
Like cigarettes, it will be mandatory to write health warnings on smartphones!
