The battle over the by-election of Sisamau assembly constituency of Kanpur has intensified. When Azad Samaj Party’s national president and Nagina MP Chandrashekhar Azad reached Kanpur on Sunday, he lost his temper. While talking to the media at MVR Grand Hotel in Gaushala, he even said in response to a question that the MLA who commented on Mayawati should be beaten with shoes. Chandrashekhar said that it is a by-election and my effort will be that Irfan Solanki, who was the SP MLA from Sisamau, gets justice. The way he has been harassed, the way he has been persecuted is not hidden from anyone. I will try to raise his voice through Azad Samaj Party.
He did not stop here, he further said that some BJP leaders have lost their minds. They have started speaking more than their capacity. Sometimes, in the process of pleasing their leaders, they forget what the consequences can be. Behenji is our leader and ideal. If someone says the wrong words in her honour, then the people of Bhim Army and Azad Samaj Party will take revenge from him. I want to warn them. The by-election of Sisamau Assembly is not a challenge for us. BSP workers and officials are trying. The public is with us. The party is making its preparations.
Azad said that today is the birth anniversary of Mandal Commission Chairman BP Mandal and Ram Swaroop Verma. I am going to attend a social justice conference in Banda on this birth anniversary. The situation prevailing in UP, while reading the newspaper we come across news of murder, rape, theft, robbery, corruption of women, this is the truth of the law and order of Uttar Pradesh and the politics of oppression of the poor, the weak and the farmers. Chandrashekhar said that we are protesting against the classification in reservation because we have read the decision of the Supreme Court. We want the unity of the brothers to remain. That is why we have tried that very soon we will call the representatives of all the castes of the Scheduled Caste and hold talks. We will try to understand each other and find a solution together. Because we doubt the intentions of the government.
