Mohan Bhagwat will get more advanced level security than Z+, Modi-Shah will also get similar security

The security level of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat has been increased significantly. His security category has been increased from Z Plus to Advance Security Liaison (ASL). His security arrangements will now be like that of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. Recently, a review was done by the Home Ministry regarding this, in which it was found that laxity has been shown in the states ruled by non-BJP parties. After this, this decision has been taken.

The Times of India has said this in one of its reports quoting the Home Ministry. Let us tell you that Bhagwat’s Z-plus security included officers and guards on deputation from CISF.

At the same time, sources in Delhi said that the RSS chief is considered to be the target of many organizations including radical Islamic organizations. After his increasing threats and information received from various agencies, the Home Ministry has declared Mohan Bhagwat as an “ASL protected person”. All states and union territories have been officially informed about the upgrade.

Under ASL, involvement of local agencies like district administration, police, health and other departments concerned with the security of the protectee is mandatory. Sources said it involves a multi-layered security cover. Helicopter travel will be allowed only in specially designed helicopters.
